Unannounced HTC Google Pixel 2 Muskie With 3,830mAh Battery Spotted In AOSP

Earlier this month Google has launched the second generation Pixel Smartphones namely Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. They were referred with the code name of Walleye and Taimen.

At the beginning, the leaks claimed that Google would be launching 3 Pixel Smartphone with codenamed as walleye, Muskie, and Taimen in 2017.But the company had eventually canceled the Muskie phone.

Today, the Muskie device has appeared on AOSP code files and it reveals several specs of the device.

According to the report from XDA Developers, AOSP file listed with PRODUCT_MANFACTURER of the Muskie phone is mentioned as Google and the PRODUCT_DEVICE referred to Muskie. The file also reveals that the device was manufactured by HTC.

Well, the HTC-made Pixel 2 XL allegedly canceled in June and it as replaced by the LG made Taimen which is the Pixel 2 XL.

The Google Pixel 2 XL came with a large battery of 3,520mAh but the unannounced Muskie had huge a 3,830mAh battery. The AOSP file also reveals that HTC’s Muskie has the same screen density of LG Pixel 2 XL that is 560 DPI.

Well, it’s interesting to see this unannounced HTC Google Pixel 2 Muskie device in AOSP.
