Sharp Aquos R Compact Announced With 4.9-inch Tri-Bezel-less Display, Android Oreo

Sharp has announced company’s latest bezel-less Smartphone Aquos R Compact. It will be available in, black, gold, silver and white. The device will go on sale in late December. The company did not reveal the pricing yet.

The Aquos R Compact offers a similar design of this year’s flagship Sharp Aquos R. The device is designed with no bezels on its three sides. It has trending semi-circle cut-out for the front-facing camera. The company placed the speaker grille at the top of the device.

In terms of Sharp Aquos R Compact specifications, the device runs on EMOPA 7.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It flaunts a 4.9-inch FHD+   IGZO display with a resolution of 2032 x 1080 Pixels.

The Aquos R Compact houses a 16.4MP camera with hybrid AF, and PDAF + contrast focus.It has an 8MP front-facing sensor for selfies.

The Aquos R Compact is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor. It offers  3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

For connectivity, it includes a 4GLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and USB-C port. It is certified by IP68 rating.

The device is backed by a 2,500mAh with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
