Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is one of the best Smartphone to buy right now.  It's powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor so there is no doubt about its performance. But at some point, the device slowing down and lag the performance especially after the intensive use. In this article, we will discuss the best ways to improve Samsung Galaxy S8 performance.

#1. Enable the Performance Mode

The Samsung Galaxy S8 duo comes with a special feature called Performance Mode, which is a new tool to manage battery life and performance of the device.

The performance mode is included four different modes for a different purpose. They are optimized, Game, Entertainment and High Performance. These modes help you to balance the battery life, performance, display resolution and almost everything.

To enable the Enable the Performance Mode on Galaxy S8 duo , go to the Settings >> Tap on the Device maintenance. Here you can select Optimized, entertainment, game and high-performance mode. Select the Performance Mode you’d like. You can also customize the mode according to your preference.

#2.Customize Animations

Another way to improve the performance is to tweak the animation settings. To do this first turn on the developer option>>  Go to settings > > tap on Developer option>>Find the Windows animation scale, animator duration scale, and Transition animation scale >> Set three of them to 0.5x for fastest performance>>  finally restart the device.

Make Sure the Developer Mode Enabled on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

Tap on Settings>>hit on Developer Options>> find Background process limit and tap on it >> select “At most 4 processes” >> exit and restart the device.

#4. Use Optimize Now

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, come with another important option called “Optimize Now”. This will help you to easily clean the device.     The best way I’ve found is to go to Developer Options and and disable hardware overlays. Did this about a week ago and have had no problems. Battery life is still great and all apps are functioning properly.
