Google Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL Will Sports A Redesigned Pixel Launcher, Portrait Mode, Always-On Song Recognition

Google will be officially launched Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones on October 4. Now new details software details about Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL has been spotted ahead of launch and thanks to two separate sources.

The new leaks are quite interesting and it claims that new Pixel flagship smartphones come with a redesigned Pixel Launcher. Both flagship devices will sport dual stereo speakers on the front panel, Portrait Camera Mode, and a new feature called Always Listening Music recognition.

The new information regarding Google Pixel 2 has been shared by @ArtemR, founder of AndroidPolice, through Twitter. Followed by the leak, Google Pixel 2 sports a redesigned Pixel launcher.  This time the search bar will be placed at the bottom of the screen and also redesigned the Google homepage.

Another report claims that Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will sports two stereo speakers, one at the top of the device and other is at the end. Both the flagship device will introduce a new feature called Always Listening Music, which shows you the info of the song playing and artist on the lock screen.

This time the company won’t feature the dual camera setup but surprisingly they will sports the Portrait Mode for the single rear camera.

The report also claims that Google Pixel 2 will have squeezable edges like HTC U11 and it will open Google Assistant.

However, there is no official confirmation about these details.
