Earlier this month Google has unveiled the company’s second-generation Pixel Smartphones, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Both devices came with the codenamed of Walleye and Taimen respectively. The search engine giant is just started shipping the pre-ordered units. Now the rumor mill reveals some interesting details about 2018 Google Pixel 3 codenames.
Well, the search engine giant is known for placing fish names as the codenames for Google’s upcoming smartphones. According to the report from Droid-Life, the 2018’s Google Pixel 3 smartphones codenamed as Crosshatch, Albacore, and Blueline.
The report also claims that the Google will call these devices as A, B, and C to keep them confidential. The two Pixel 3 variant will come with the tag of “premium,” flagship smartphone and the third one will be arriving as a high-end model.
The publication has also found the existence of these devices. The codename “crosshatch” has mentioned in the comment section for an AOSP listing referred for Pixel devices. You can see the image below:
As you can be seen in the above image, the reference to “crosshatch”. It also mentioned the codename of “sailfish” and “marlin”.
Apart from “crosshatch”, the image also reveals a mysterious device named “wahoo”. But there is no idea about wahoo.
